New For 2009!

Harbercraft announces two new exciting additions to 2009 model line-up:

2475 Extreme Shallow

Some people have it made – the ones who get to choose the best way their jet boat is set-up. Our new 2475 Extreme Shallow will become “extremely” popular for its three optional console locations. Is it a 4, 6 or 8 foot deck you need? Dial it in and maximize your capability to haul quads, ferrying supplies or transporting that prized trophy back home.

Skinny water or fast current, the new 2475 Extreme Shallow is the perfect combination of everything you'd expect from a Harbercraft and everything you never thought a utility jet boat could be.

2425 Discovery Hard Top
These days, the action can vary widely in you’re your favorite hot spots. Fishermen go where the fish are, near or far. That has made our crossover Discovery Hard-Top model very popular, and the new 2425 is already high in demand.
It is the ultimate in crossover features. Serious cockpit space for maximum fishability, it can handle six big guys - with no comparison or competition.

Harbercraft Boats Receives Marine Industry CSI Award

SARASOTA, Fla., July 16, 2007— Harbercraft Boats has been recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) with its annual Marine Industry CSI award. This is the second consecutive year that Harbercraft has been recognized.

“The Harbercraft team recognizes that the boat business is all about the customer and the experience they enjoy throughout their ownership experience,” said Byron Bolton, President and CEO of WestWinn Group., makers of Harbercraft, Jetcraft and Kingfisher premium all-welded aluminum boats. “Receiving this award reflects our ongoing promise to all of our loyal customers, both new and old.”

Headquartered in Vernon, BC, WestWinn Group manufactures sportfishing boats ranging from 18 to 30 feet in length. This award applies to the outboard categories.

The spirit of the CSI Award Program is to elevate the importance of customer satisfaction programs and recognize industry best practices in a positive manner. Winners are not permitted to publicize their individual scores, however, an average score of 90 or above for 2007 program year boat models is required to earn this award.

“Our dealers and staff work hard year-round to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction across the board and I am extremely proud of what they have accomplished. We take pride in being the only all-welded aluminum boat manufacturer to earn this recognition.” adds Bolton.

Kingfisher Environmental Interpretive Centre

Every fall the Coho, Spring, Sockeye, and Kokanee salmon return to their spawning grounds in the Shuswap River gravel beds in British Columbia. The numbers of returning salmon were on a steady decline until; in 1981 the concept of building a hatchery and environmental interpretive centre to address the problem was spawned.

The hatchery conducts one of the most successful Salmon Enhancement programs in the country. About 500,000 fry are raised in incubators until they reach the Alvin stage, then they are released into the Shuswap to begin their journey to the Pacific.

Harbercraft/Kingfisher boats take great pleasure in acknowledging the hard work and dedication required to re-establishing the salmon sport fishing industry on the Shuswap River.

A donation of $1000 was sent to Mr. Neil Brookes, Director of the Kingfisher Interpretive Centre and Hatchery.
