| Forty-eight years and 110,000-plus boats later...
Originating on the shores of the mighty Niagara River, the original founders, the Harber family, started manufacturing car top aluminum boats in 1959. With growth and sales demand from major department stores, a second manufacturing plant was built in the 70s near Vernon, B.C. |

As the market demand grew for the product, Harbercraft began to develop a marine-oriented dealer network across Canada and the Pacific Northwest. And by the mid-80s, the company was utilizing one of North America's first robotic welders for small-components welding. |

Fully-welded aluminum boats made their debut in 1996 as Harbercraft began utilizing computer numeric controlled (CNC) technology. Along with the development of the trademark-protected Pre-Flex® hull technology, the company captured a brand new consumer base: those craving the most technologically advanced hull on the market. Advancements in engineering allowed Harbercraft to produce hulls with clean lines and proven performance characteristics matched with style, strength and durability. Demand called for it: a new manufacturing facility was built in 1998. |

Harbercraft's involvement in the international whitewater racing circuit as well as short-track sprint boat racing netted 13 World Championship whitewater races. The success had on the world's stage can be attributed to the development of the Next Generation Pre-Flex® hull technology. The learnings from our involvement in racing programs benefit every boat we build today, making them the best-of-the-best for strength, style and performance. |

| In 2004, the Westwinn Group Corporation became the parent company for Harbercraft boats, marketing and investing further into new product development and improved technology. As a result of this effort, the Harbercraft brand has emerged as a distinct leader in all-welded aluminum boat building in Canada. |

In 2006, Harbercraft began the rigorous certification and testing process of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). The National Marine Manufacturers Association establishes a set of safety and performance standards that are far above and beyond the US Coast Guard and Transportation Canada regulations. Harbercraft is the only heavy gauge aluminum boat manufacturer with NMMA certification.
Today, your Harbercraft boat is built with revolutionary Pre-Flex hull technology and is NMMA certified. Our engineering and craftsmanship continues to be a symbol of strength, style and durability, providing your family a safe vessel that will last a lifetime. |
